Biography
After studying art history, English literature, and artistic management, Marine Bléhaut embarked on a career as a graphic designer.
Her artistic practice draws inspiration from the field of contemporary drawing. This medium allows her to reproduce microscopic forms from the sensory world (cells, molecules, globules...) and establish a connection between the viewer and what they observe: vital elements for our equilibrium, determinants in our existence and choices.
In 2021, her discovery of web3 and the possibilities for direct compensation for digital creators encouraged her to create her own films and weave her own narrative through digital imagery. In 2022, the ART GIRLS gallery held a cinematic projection of her experimental films accompanied by a performance by the artist Seiko Phoenix in a pool. She then joined the New French Touch collective as an artist, managed by curators Benoit Couty, Albertine Meunier, Lucie-Eléonore Riveron, Brian Beccafico, Jean-Michel Pailhon, and Gaspard Broustine, which supports the reputation of the French art scene in the field of crypto art.
Her first experimental film became part of the MOCA (Museum Of Crypto Art) collection. The same year, she was featured among the artists presented in the "CATALOG: 100 WOMXN ARTISTS TO FOLLOW IN THE NFT SPACE," a book co-authored by Annelise Stern, JessyJeanne, Joséphine Louis, Léa Duhem, and Marie-Odile Falais.
In 2023, her artistic work is showcased in numerous exhibitions in France, such as "Portrait at the Dawn of Web3, Reinventing a Genre" (2023, collective 1703, WEARE space, Paris), "WAGMI" (2023, GXRLS REVOLUTION, IHAM Gallery, Paris), and "100% AI" (2023, NFT Factory, Paris).
Her creations are also exhibited multiple times internationally during major events in the digital world (NFT London 2022, NFC Lisbon 2023, NFT NYC 2023...), giant projections in public spaces (Art Crush World Tour 2023: London, New York, San Francisco, Tokyo, Melbourne, Hong Kong, Lagos, Paris, Amsterdam, Milan), or exhibitions like the Bridgeport Art Trail (2023, Bridgeport, United States).
Today, Marine Bléhaut is regularly invited to events or panel discussions to discuss her practice that blends art with technology.
